Aneala Newcomers Guide
You will find all sorts of people and situations within the Society and hopefully
this guide will give you an insight on being part of our world.
Our events are really easy to turn up to, all you need is an attempt at pre 1600 clothing and an attitude to come along and have fun. If you don't have medieval clothing we can help, or turn up to a training session or an arts night to meet us in normal clothes.
We are trying to create an ambience/ atmosphere in which we may enjoy a medieval/ renaissance historical fantasy. To some this may only be a costume party, to others it is a chance to act out a part or a persona they have lovingly created. The requirements we have for attendance enable these diverse views to co-exist, generally everyone wants to have fun, and so a little bit of consideration/ co-operation goes a long way. The officers of the society are there to provide venues and help with activities, generally they can also provide an unbiased and/ or helpful opinion.
The HOSPITALLER is tasked with looking after you, the newcomer. If you have any difficulty, or you are confused by something, talk to them, if the Hospitaller cannot help you, they will know who can.Lastly, you are the only person who can dictate your level of participation, a lot, a little or anything in between, all are fine.
