Officers are responsible for the smooth running of the Barony. They are additionally responsible to their corresponding Kingdom Officers in matters of policy and administration of their offices.
All officers must be members of the SCA with immediate access to the newsletters provided by a subscribing membership while they are officers.

Reeve The Reeve is the chief financial officer of the Barony and is responsible for collecting, safeguarding and disbursing the monies of the Barony, maintaining financial records and receiving financial reports from stewards of Anealan events. They can help with any financial enquiries. |

Herald The Herald is responsible for official announcements at events and for assisting the Baron and Baroness with court ceremony and protocol. They are also responsible for assisting with the registration of names and devices (coats of arms) and maintaining Aneala's Order of Precedence (the list of who has what awards). They can help you come up with a suitable medieval name and device and answer any questions about the award system. |

Arts & Sciences The Minister for Arts & Sciences is responsible for promoting and reporting on creative activity within the Barony. They can answer your questions about arts and sciences competitions and point you in the right direction if you would like help making anything or with performing arts. |

Constable The Constable is responsible for the maintenance of order and security at events, staffing of the site entrance, indemnities and keeping the roster of attendance. They can answer your questions about any non-martial safety concerns, what paperwork you will need to sign at an event and what you will need for any children you bring and they are the person most likely to have anything you left behind at an event. |

Knight Marshal The Knight Marshal is responsible for encouraging, overseeing and reporting on all marshallate (armoured, rapier, target and combat archery, equestrian) activity with the Barony and ensuring that they are conducted safely and in accordance with Kingdom and Society rules. They can answer your questions about the various marshallate activities and how to participate. |

They usually organise baronial archery training and can help you get started in archery. |

Chatelaine The Chatelaine is responsible for assisting newcomers and marketing the Barony. They have a store of costume and feast gear (medieval dinner sets) for loan to help you fit in at your first few events and it’s their job to explain how it all works and to help you fit in. |
